Mr. Gustafson started his career at a securities litigation firm in Los Angeles. From there, he took a position with the international law firm Greenberg Traurig working as a real estate transaction attorney. While at Greenberg Traurig, Mr. Gustafson worked on real estate finance, due diligence, purchase and sale, and regulatory matters. Mr. Gustafson then accepted a position with a large, U.S. based law firm, Ballard Spahr. While at Ballard Spahr, he continued to work in real estate finance and regulatory matters.
In 2009, he started the litigation and transactional law firm, Gustafson pc. The Firm represented small businesses in disputes in state court and providing corporate and real estate advisory services for clients. The firm also assisted clients with regulatory matters at the state and federal levels before the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, the California Department of Corporations, the California Department of Real Estate, and several other regulatory agencies.
Mr. Gustafson represented plaintiffs in securities and investment fraud matters in state and federal court, as well as in mediations and arbitrations.
